Avoiding Merger's

Huricane Ike

This photo to me looks like it could be part of Avoiding merger's there are so many merger's (trees) and maybe part of lines the water, is leading to the grave stones. Maybe balanced elements, And that's about it.
This photo right here looks like it could be part of maybe rule of thirds that's if the guy was the main subject, and lines cause there are lines leading to the subject it could also be balanced. Or symmetry and patterns because of the buildings windows.

Great black and white photographers, PART 2.

Imogen Cunningham

Cunningham was born in Portland, Orgen. When Cunningham was 18 (1901) She bought her first camera. She lost intrest for a while in photography, In 1906 she became back into intrest in photography because of  Gertrude Käsebier Photo's. Cunningham took more intrest in taking photos of plants because of her study of chemistry. 1907 She worked with Edward S. Curtis in Seattle. This gaver her a opportunity to learn more about the portrait business. In 1910 her way back to Seattle Cunningham met Alvin Langdon Coburn, Alfred Stilgiltz and Gertrude Käsebier once again in New York. In Seattle Cunningham opend up her own portraiture and pictorial work shop. She became a full time photographer, In 1914 Cunningham's portraits were shown at “An International Exhibition of Pictorial Photography” in New York and a portfolio of her work was published in Wilson's Photographic Magazine. The next year she married Rio Partridge, He posed for nude photographers. Between the years 1915 and 1920 Cunningham continued her work and had three children with Roi. 1923 and 1925 Cunningham gain a whole lot more intrest in the magnolia flower. In 1934 Cunningham was invited to do some work in New York for Vanity Fair. Her husband wanted her to wait until he could travel with her but she refused and they later divorced. She continued her work with Vanity Fair until it stopped publication in 1936. Cunningham continued taking pictures untill she died at the age of 93. June 24, 1976.

Pinhole Negative and Posotive.

The top is a posotive and the bottom photo is my negative, They are flipped from each other, the posotive looks more dull than the bottom the bottom (negative) is like enlightened. The definition of negative for photography is just reversed colors. Photography negative; Same thing its just color reversed. My negative and my posotive look different from each other because the light and dark areas in the posotive appear to be the exact opposite on the negative photo.
Bending; movement that causes the formation of a curve

Discussion
Because she is basiclly telling us she is crying cause her father past. When somthing sad like that happends you cry. Signal of emotion.

Avoiding Mergers
The flag is obviously in the way, and throughing off the subject of the picture witch is the lady probably giving a speech of 9/11

Framing
It looks like he is trying to send a message and one message only that he is proud to be and american, he is framing that message towards us.

Balanced
This photo is balanced. How? The woman holding the flag and the guy behind her connects with the flag and it makes kind of a weird pentegon shape.

The Rule of Thirds
If you were to cut this photo into thirds or cut it into rule of thirds, it will still be a picture and still send out the message that they are coverd in ashes and they are scared.

Lines
The lines are representing that it's the building, that are shaped in the lines and the air plane is obviously destroying the lined shape building it's breaking the building of lines.

Simplicity
To give more visual attention, and this is giving many attention and it's all about the subject the building is crashing apart because of the DUMB planes.
Introduction
This photo is letting us know what we are going to learn about. The introduction of whatever else is happening.

It was really sad looking at these photos that happend in 9/11 there are most pictures that tell a lot about the picture how everything happend how peoples families and close friends, workers, mothers, fathers, aunts died in twin towers because of a irrelavent disition that was made when getting on the plane.
