The Repetition this photo is the television screens represent repetition why?, because the same channel is on, on the back of the television screens and the seat's are the exact same.

Slice of Heaven
Judges rate Alpine cheese in Oberstdorf, Germany. Jury members at the 5th Alpine Cheese Olympics rated over 700 kinds of Alpine cheese from all over the world.

The Repetition in this photo is the cheese the way it is just presented and the way it's set up! and the way the tables are alinned with each other, makes it repetition and all the different types of cheese maybe different shapes and sizes but they are still cheese thats what i think is really cool.

Quiet on the Home Front
An air traffic controller work station at the Skyguide monitoring center in Geneva, Switzerland's Cointrin airport sits unmanned, as ash from the volcanic eruption in Iceland stops aviation over Europe. Skyguide was forced to reduce its work force by approximately 50 percent due to reduced flights.

The Repetition in this photo, is the computers the chairs, the wires, the back board those are all considered repetition to me because they not only lead to the subject but they are repeting themselves. The way the chairs are set up, is call repetition but also leading to the subject whitch is the computers.

American Soldier slidshow and captions.

A. The most powerfull image in the slidewhow is when Him and his brother are on the trunk of the car crying, Because he is going off to war and they are catching his emotion.

B. I think the In The Army chapter is most powerfull, Because it shows all the changes he is going through as he enter's the army.

C. These images work very well to put this photo together, Because as each major thing that happends photo's are being taken of them. That's pretty cool.

A. The verbs are usually writtin in past tense.

B. Captions inhance the photographs by telling us exactly what was going on at the moment.

A. 1. First Assignment, 1st Photo, Ian is coming back from training in the army. He is so happy to see his parent's and his girlfrined.

     2. First Assignment, 3rd Photo, Ian is having a butt load of fun being at home, and away from the army/training. He is happy that the time he spent with his brother's is having fun.

     3. First Assignment, 11th Photo, Ian is doing push ups while smoking his cigertte. Ian had to do push ups for not saying "YES SIR!" after he was told something.

Video's

A. These features inhance the photography by telling us more "behind the story" meaning the picture, them speaking and telling us what's really going on.

B. Video's are better than photographs by giving it the advantage for them to speak themself's and telling us themself's of whats happining instead of in a photo, you have to take a strong estimated guess on what's going on in the photo or what you think is happining.

C. Photo's are better than video's by photo's catching what people cant see you get too look at and examin the photo for a very long time, and also you can be able to make up your own story and pictures can capture something with in the speed of light and we would still be able to see it, and examin it. video's you cant do that, you have to watch listen and look.

These are two stupid cat's in sleeping bags. The cat's are laying down together because they made love each other on valentines day.

This is a car was changed into a moving truck. The car was riding low because a momma's boy is moving to college.

What skills besides photography did Luis Sinco utilize to produce this slide show?
-Luis Sinco, Used all kinds of photography and skills to produce this slide show like, Taking pictures of the action he was doing multiple times so it look kinda looked like a sketch in a book where you flip through the pages really fast and it looks like it's really moving. Other skills he used in his photography is cropping a lot of photo's and the rule of thirds, He used a lot of that. And also it was mainly like a documentary on what Miller's perspective was about his experience going through war in Iraq.

What was the effect of the multimedia effects of the slide show?
-I think the effect in this multimedia was that Miller had a serious reaction about how he felt after war, He kept asking himself "why him" and it kept getting to him so he also was always thinking about suicide. Which were Luis Sinco helped him and took him somewhere in Connecticut to get better.

What is the most powerful image from the slide show? Why?

-I strongly believe that this image was the topic of the story it just took over. Looking at this photo it gives you a story. The way he is smoking, Which usually when you smoke you have something on your mind. The dirt and sweat on his face, Showing his hard work. His facial expressions, (eyes) His uniform, What he is wearing exactly shows that he is part of the war.




What sequence of photographs is the most powerful? Why?
- I think the ones that are, Him and his motorcycle crew, Only because he is actually smiling in one picture and i noticed in every picture he is not smiling but ONE, And it's the picture where he is with his friends, enjoying his time partying , His mind is actually off the war.

How does the audio enhance the photographs?
-The audio enhances the photographs because Miller is the audio he is speaking in the background telling his story basically throughout every picture. The photography goes with every word that Miller is saying. That's what also makes this Multimedia so interesting.

How do the images work together to tell a story?
-The images work together to tell the story, By the photo's being taken to every action that Miller is feeling, saying, They are all getting seen by the photo's and his words literally fit into every photo. It's like his eye's were cameras and he took those photo's as time went by and the thoughts running through his head. For instance one part when him and his wife were filing for divorce in October, You can tell that his wife was hurt, Because she stayed on the porch being extremely sad. And Miller, in general didn't want to put his wife through that pain. And they got every snap shot of that.

Patrick from Black Keys. I like this photo a lot! First off he is playing the drums(: And also you can see the intense work that he is putting in to make the song/jam he is trying to play sound so fantastic. It interest me a lot cause of his facial expression and i like the instrument.

I think this video is extremly awesome they are just "Scream Queen's" screaming at the top of there lungs to win a contest and i think it's cool and so random. Only because it's screaming....It comes naturally. I didnt know you could have a beautifull scream. And the girl that wins the screaming contest. I like her style(:

This photo is very, VERY inspiring. I am trying my best to succeed as becoming a vegetarian. And for good reasons not the worst i know Elephant's really aren't edible, But it's inspiring cause if i woke up every day and saw this photo, Id know that i am helping them meaning any type of animal(: I like this photo a lot as well Elephant's are my favorite type of animal And the cropping in this photo is great. I like how it has lines (wrinkles) I like the expression in his eye's, The Elephant looks sad/interested in what's going on in this photo.

Great Black, White Photographers pt.3

Imogen Cunningham

I see, thick leaves of a beautifull type of flower sitting on steady clear lake water. I see, crystals in the middle of the steam. I see, more leaves growing out to become like the ones already sprouted from the steam.

I smell, orange with the mixture of banna's, I smell, the smell of rain. I smell nature.

I hear, the sound of animals learking behind the woods. I hear the birds cherping in the tree's. I hear the wind blowing the flower farther and farther away from me. I hear, nothing but silence. I hear the clouds moving. I hear the thoughts in my head while taking this photo.

I taste, the dry wind and craving of water because i am thirsty. I taste the smell of the lake where the flower is placed. I taste everything in the air touching my tounge.

I feel, Like i have to cry while being at a quiet place like this. I feel, i have to think of something sad. I feel, something never felt before, Joy, happiness, depression, sadness all emotions put in one.

This photo caught my eye the most cause when i saw it, i immediately thought of myself. Ask me why?, I dont really know. But i take the guess that the flower still has more to grow as you can see from the steam. And that's just how i picture myself(: Lifes not over. Still have more life to see!:D

I see, Soldiers left from right of my eye. I see, men working hard to fight for their country. I see, dead soldiers on the floor and i cant do anything but pass them by. I see, people shooting at each other with no sympathey. I see, people decaying on one another.

I smell, Left over smoke from the shootings of the guns, I smell, sweat. I smell, dust and chemicals that i dont think belong in my nose. I smell, dead people.

I hear, Shotting guns at one another. I hear, my boss yelling at me for various of reasons. I hear, my friends suffering on the floor yelling for help, i hear, explosions from the right sight of my ear. I hear, duck ever 15 seconds. I hear, the noise of sweat dripping down my face.

I taste, Water. I taste, dirt that's coming from all of the explosions happining right in front of me. I taste, blood, not sure if it's mine or others?. I taste, salted water coming out of my skin cells. I taste, nothing but dry, because im so exhausted.

I feel, Terrible. I feel, unselfish knowing that im sacraficing myself to save my country and fight for our rights. I feel, that my life could end in about anytime that i am at war. I feel, scared. I feel, completely unaware of what might happen in my life next.

This picture caught my eye because i think it's so risky that soldiers are so brave to sacrafice every little single thing they have, owned, and cared for, and put that at risk by loosing thier life to fight for thier people. When i saw this i thought a little about my family most of them are in the service so i think thats why i liked it alot. And the picture is just beatifull it's self. You can tell that they are really hard working.

Acedemics Preview

The Best Story

The girl stays late after school, because she needs to finish her project on the human body. She studies as much as possible, untill she reaches part of the human body that she thinks became really interesting so she decides to write down what she thinks it is. Then will research it later. That's what i think my "story" would be based on this photo.

 Action and Emotion

This photo has really good emotion i think. It shows that he is doing a science experiment (measurement) and he is trying to be exact with his caculations. His facial expressions shows that he is BEYOND CONCENTRATING. He is concentrating really hard on trying to get the chemicals into the flask the right amount.

Filling the Frame
The frame on this photo is the brick walls, framing the people in the middle of it. The people are what fills the frame as you can see, the people in this photo are leaning on the "frame" brick wall staring at something beneth them. I think this is a good example because the people are centered in the middle of the photo and the framing is perfect.
